**About the Team & Business Line**:
The team develops and drives also Citco’s global tax risk management and works closely with the business units and finance, HR, risk and legal teams. The position can be in Luxembourg, Nyon (Switzerland) or Amsterdam and will focus on Indirect Tax matters of the group
**Your** Role**:
- You will have the understanding and ability to communicate the company’s strategy, products and organizational design to stakeholders internally and externally.
- You will monitor and analyze the impact of new and proposed global and local tax legislation on the company’s strategy, products and organizational design.
- You will define tax requirements in organizational change projects
- You will lead tax related organization change projects
- You will review VAT/GST returns and advise Finance on compliance requirements.
- You will assist in responding to requests and questions formulated by local country taxing authorities.
- You will assist and support Finance with tax audits
- You will review intercompany agreements associated with international transactions and work with management, finance and legal counsel to properly execute and implement such agreements.
- You will develop relationships with key members of the management, finance, HR, risk and tax teams in relevant jurisdictions
- You will develop relationships with key external stakeholder in relevant jurisdictions
- You will stay updated on all tax developments and changes in relevant legislation
- You will perform ad hoc duties to support members of the Group Tax Team
- You will be the in house tax advisory on Indirect Tax matters
- You will perform complex tax law research assignments and draft detailed technical tax memorandums.
**About You**:
- You are a qualified accountant or have a university degree in tax law
- You have 3-5 years’ experience in the Big 4 or professional services/private practice experience in Indirect Tax is essential
- You have the ability to provide accurate analyses on complex tax specific matters
- You have the ability to assist in routine technical, financial, and organizational activities by researching issues independently
- You have general transfer pricing experience
- You have a strong technical background
- You have the ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure
- You have excellent computer-literacy skills
- You have business & technical expertise
- You are a problem solver
- You have the ability to work effectively cross-functionally
- You have strong English communication skills, oral and written
- You are a team player
- You have excellent attention to details and accuracy
- You have the ability to manage multiple priorities
- You are willing to travel
