The AI revolution and more particularly LLM (Large Language Model) is a real technological swamp, which has a significant impact on the business activities of companies.

These new techniques already make it possible to increase the productivity of employees historically working on "classic" business tools such as CRM or ERP. With Generative AI it is now possible to boost productivity by offering an assistant or a Copilot to the user to help them with these tasks.

However, these traditional CRM and other tools have all customer and company data. This data is sensitive and often, depending on regulations, the sector of activity, etc., this data cannot remain in a Public Cloud.

Nowadays, only the big names in GAFAM and other equally powerful affiliates can offer robust LLMs because these models have benefited from training on gigantic volumes of data and via equally important hardware. These models are often offered as part of the Public Cloud of the provider in question (Microsoft, AWS, etc.)... which these "sensitive" companies cannot use.

It is to propose a solution to this problem that we offer this internship. This involves setting up an LLM to work with clients' private data, without it going to the Public Cloud.

The high-level approach:

- Select and use an accessible LLM model and fine tune it to focus on the structure of the company (relational data, documents, etc.).
- Design the hardware infrastructure necessary for its execution and create the API layer making it available as a service in the IT landscape of the company (availability, security, etc.).

The internship will be divided into several stages:

- Analyze, test, and select the right LLM model to use, with a comparative study to be carried out.
- Set up the entire model customization architecture: Fine tune techniques, alignment, prompt engineering, etc.
- Study the hardware infrastructure necessary to run the model correctly according to a scale.
- Design the architecture and implement the integration layer making the model “As A Service” in the company's infrastructure.

**Your profile**

***:

- Machine Learning, Natural language processing and familiarity with large language models.
- Proven programming skills (Python, C#,)
- Knowledge of hardware infrastructure is a plus.
- Knowledge of concepts for creating an API and web services is a plus
