**CHINA AFFAIRS & STRATEGY DEPARTMENT**

China Affairs & Strategy Department aims to support Richemont Group functions and Maisons to better understand China and Chinese clientele as well as to identify, create, and develop business opportunities with our Maisons across the globe.

Richemont China Affairs & Strategy Department is looking for a **Business Development Manager**, whose role is mainly to identify Chinese business partners, cultivate partner relations, and develop business. She/He also helps coordinate Department initiatives at country, region, and global level.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Business** **Development**
- Continuously develop and grow our business partner network as a Chinese business development platform;
- Connect with local Chinese diaspora communities in countries/regions;
- Initiate and lead Chinese business development with Maisons;
- Nurture relationship and explore business opportunities with existing business partners:

- Banks, private banking, and family offices
- Associations & clubs
- Business schools
- Chinese companies
- Etc.
- Monitor business development performance as well as the state of our business partner network.

**Project Initiation, Implementation, and Support**
- Contribute to the Department project planning & action plan;
- Coordinate and support Department operations (client-facing events, multi-brand events, VVIP events) & research analysis reports (tourism, macro-environment, etc.);
- Transversal support to ad-hoc requests from Maisons & Group functions (Digital, Marketing, Retail, CRM, etc.) when needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 5 years of relevant business development, preferably in the luxury industry
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in both English & Chinese (Mandarin)
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Team-spirit and good interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
