For our Chemical Development and Commercial Manufacturing (CDCM) division we are seeking a motivated** Manager API Operations **with a focus on operational activities.

**Role**

**Job responsibilities**
- API (direct) procurement and business accounting
- Validate Request for Proposals
- Validate and complete purchase requisitions and turn into orders (PO)
- Monitor and follow up on PO’s (e.g. late delivery, scope change management, complaints) in COUPA and SAP
- Manage Goods Receipts, control of timely delivery of goods and services
- Manage invoices and reconciliation, maintain payment schedule and down payments
- Prepare and support the budgeting process
- Manage quarterly updates and latest estimates
- API batch tracking
- Manage and maintain batch oversight in terms of value, amount and location
- Manage periodical batch reconciliation
- Manage warehouses
- Business support
- Oversight of global supplier portfolio of Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO)
- Oversight of contracts like Master Service Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements
- Assist Business Key Performance Indicator Reviews
- Single point of contact for Global Supply Chain and Finance
- Manage shipment request from CDCM to Logistics team
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for audits
- Assist CDCM in drafting Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
- Assist CDCM in transactions within Veeva
- Business Master Data owner for CDCM
- Bachelor in supply chain management or related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry either within R&D, manufacturing, supply chain environment, or direct procurement
- Excellent communication skills to excel in cross-functional teams
- Ability to adapt effectively to rapidly changing and dynamic environment
- Accurate working style
- Excellent English required (oral and written)
- Professional usage of Software tools like e.g. EXCEL, SAP (S/4HANA), COUPA, CORS, Veeva is desirable
- Experience in the overall pharmaceutical development process over the whole product life cycle, from Phase 1 up to and including launch and beyond is of advantage
- Know-how of the global custom manufacturing market for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) is a benefit
