Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The Corporate Communications Team (CorCom) is responsible to manage and maintain METTLER TOLEDO corporate messaging and language globally, train and consult internal clients in all aspects of Corporate Writing and Corporate Language.
To strengthen our Group Communications team at our global Headquarters in Greifensee, Switzerland, we seek a Corporate Communications Manager 100% (f/m/d).
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- Deputy to manage CorCom unit in Switzerland, in absences of Head of CorCom
- Consult clients in all aspects of communications, corporate writing, and corporate language
- Protect METTLER TOLEDO corporate language by training, and consulting units on proper guideline implementation
- Support and guide communications with Global HR for our new EVP Program to refresh our Employer Brand
- Contribute to the production of corporate publications
- Active member of editorial team contributing to all aspects of corporate communication including global news, support SoMe posts, amazing solution stories, and crisis communication preparedness
- Drive corporate storytelling that engage our employees and publics
- Contribute to digital transformation of corporate publications
- Manage communication vendor relations
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree Corporate Communications, Communication Sciences, or Business/Management field
- Minimum of five years' experience in corporate communications
- Passionate writer, skilled and experienced in storytelling in high-tech or manufacturing industry
- Experience in managing a team
- Experience in running change-management communications for large programs and initiatives
- Comfortable to measure performance with analytics
- Outstanding interpersonal and time-management skills
- Highly professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative
- Strong business, relationship management, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both German and English, with native American-English background, are required for this role
