**Your Role**

In this role, you will work as part of our international finance team assuming responsibility for all Swiss accounting related matters with additional ad hoc support of other entities. You will be accountable for the preparation of year-end financial statements under IFRS and will work closely with third party providers on the tax filings. You will liaise with external auditors to ensure audits are planned and executed accordingly within required timelines. Additionally, you will prepare monthly Management Accounts including analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Income Statements, General Ledger items and Liquidity Forecasts.

This role will report to the Group Finance Manager and will be based in Zurich.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts including commentary on the Swiss entity.
- Produce the year-end financial statements under both IFRS and Swiss GAAP.
- Produce monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and Income Statement analysis.
- Provide support for month-end closure of other entities.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of the audits.
- Work with tax advisors to ensure compliance with Swiss taxes.
- Assist with the production of the Swiss VAT return.
- Support the Group Finance Manager in the consolidation of the group accounts.
- Continuously provide input into improvements of processes, practices and contribute to the knowledge base of the team.

**Your Experience & Qualifications**
- 2 - 5 years of Accounting and Finance experience within an international fast-paced environment.
- Qualified / part-qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, Swiss CPA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Strong understanding of the Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss GAAP; familiarity with Swiss taxes would be beneficial.
- Solid financial accounting skills with the ability to analyse and interpret variances.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English; German language skills would be an asset.
