**_ ROLE OBJECTIVE_**

Global Portfolio Division is a newly formed business within Takeda, brought together to position Takeda’s future success by growing our global brands - through lifecycle management, geographic expansion, and market penetration - as well as supporting continued growth of our late-stage pipeline and driving best-in-class launches. Made up of over 12,000 FTE across 77 countries and is based in five main regions: EUCAN, Growth & Emerging Markets (GEM), the United States and China. Additionally includes 3 global organizations: Vaccines Business Unit, Global Portfolio &Launch Strategy (GPLS) and Global Medical as well as business partner functions such as DD&T, Finance, HR, and Communications. The Global Portfolio Division represents 30% of Takeda’s revenues and this is expected to grow to 40% over the next three years. It is also accountable for the vast majority of the near-term growth.

The creation of this division provides a unique opportunity to implement a new model for Talent Acquisition and position GPD as a talent magnet across our diverse markets.

We are seeking an innovative leader to spearhead the implementation of the new model for TA. You will be working out of our Takeda office in Zürich, Boston, or London.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to build a best-in-class talent acquisition operation that delivers on the organization’s need for attracting diverse, top talent worldwide
- Implement a harmonized global RPO solution. Responsible for ensuring global adoption of a global partner that can manage the people, process, technology, and strategy of GPD talent acquisition function across the organization. Develop overall program design to drive engagement of third parties and ensure their ability to deliver on agreements.
- Partner with Global HR to fully embed HR technology solutions in GPD for the development and implementation global initiatives surrounding all aspects of talent acquisition and the employee experience that create and maintain a competitive advantage and increased value in a rapidly changing marketplace
- Develop a global GPD EVP that will provide focus and enable the elevation of talent capabilities within the GPD TA organization, improve the quality of interviews, leverage assessment framework and operate a true partner to the business

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure successful implementation of a TA transformation across GPD from a BU/BF model to 5 regional, division-agnostic TA teams, a GPD-wide RPO model and consistent TA strategy
- Design and establish challenging service standards; measure and monitor against set standards and hold the RPO teams accountable for performance at the global level. This position will consistently improve operational performance and maintain service excellence with RPO relationships.
- Ensure continuous pulse of the global business and objectives to ensure processes and systems can meet and exceed business priorities. Maintain relationships with executive business leaders, talent teams and vendors to ensure ongoing support and harmonization of systems and processes.
- Manage third-party vendors and resources on behalf of GPD, to ensure value-add for deployment on prioritized initiatives. Oversee and participate in project reviews with vendor and ensure alignment with Takeda global Talent Acquisition strategies and priorities.
- Develop staff to evaluate activities, projects, products, and investments with a value-based, consultant-focused approach. Motivate and provide leadership to local TA teams to ensure the proper allocation of resources to the highest priority deliverables
- Research and review industry trends to benchmark services and strategies and ensure Takeda has a competitive advantage.
- Develop and leverage analytics capabilities to drive fact-based decision making at the global level. Support local teams to best determine for unique priorities.
- Build a Community of Practice across regions to leverage best practices and ensure appropriate harmonized processes. Inspire team to attain goals and pursue excellence. Identifies potential solutions needed and works with local teams to identify short
- and long-term solutions. Ensure alignment with global Talent Acquisition team to ensure global initiatives align with business priorities.
- Communicate effectively with team to support the identification of needs and evaluate alternative talent acquisition solutions.

**_ SKILLS and LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES_**

**Experience and Education**
- 10-12 years of leadership experience within talent acquisition, RPO is a plus
- Demonstrated successful stakeholder management, influencing, and utilizing negotiation skills
- Demonstrated success and interaction with senior leadership level both written and verbally
- Global experience preferred
