**Microfluidic scientist**:
**Your mission**:
NanoDecoder is an EPFL-based project that aims to combat counterfeiting and Illicit trade using its innovative nanopore sensing technology. NanoDecoder developes devices that allow in-time, on-site product authentication by non-experts to improve the supply chain security and transparency.

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:
You will be leading the project of design and develop a microfluidic chip for manufacturing bilayer lipid membrane and nanopore insertion, providing supports and training to students and interns, and participating in research projects in Cao Lab.
- Leading and managing the project
- Microfluidics design and fabrication
- Supervise students and interns

**Your profile**:

- PhD graduates in the field of nano/microtechnology, microelectronics, nano/microfludics
- Familiar with the operation in cleaning room
- Familiar with standard nano/microfabrication
- Experience in microfluidics, especially in digital microfluidics, electrowetting, microelectronics
- Experience in lipid or nanopore manipulation in microfluidics is a strong plus
- Good communication skills and good documentation and writing skills in English
