**Laboratory Research Technician**:
**Your mission**:
Our research in the Laboratory of Microbiology & Microtechnology focuses on infectious diseases, especially pulmonary and urinary tract infections. We use time-lapse microscopy and microfabricated devices (e.g., microfluidics, organ-on-chip) to analyze host-pathogen interactions and therapeutic interventions at the single-cell level. We aim to recruit a talented and motivated research technician to work with pathogenic microorganisms and eukaryotic infection models as part of a highly interactive and interdisciplinary team.

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:
The research technician will be involved in lab management and research projects, providing support and expertise to our scientists in such areas as:
> Ordering and stocking supplies
> Surveillance and maintenance of equipment
> General lab organization and record keeping
> Lab safety
> Eukaryotic tissue culture, including organoids and organs-on-chip
> Microfabrication of microfluidic devices and organ-on-chip systems
> Molecular biology and bacterial molecular genetics
> Time-lapse fluorescence microscopy
> Assistance with animal experiments
> Training new incoming lab personnel
