**About the Role**:
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all financial activities within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient financial operations, accurate and complete reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise in EU and Swiss regulations will be instrumental in navigating the complex regulatory landscape in both traditional financial markets and the emerging field of digital assets and cryptocurrencies. Additionally, you will lead a team while actively contributing to financial operations and decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Financial Accounting and Reporting:

- Drive daily finance operations and month-end closing process
- Prepare, review and file accurate and timely financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles (IFRS, Swiss GAAP) and statutory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure successful audits and compliance with all relevant guidelines
- Stay informed about the evolving regulatory landscape and ensure compliance with financial regulations and relevant directives.
- Tax Compliance and Tax Planning:

- Work with external legal and tax advisors to ensure effective tax planning and compliance with tax reporting and payment requirements
- Prepare/review periodic income tax filings
- Prepare/review periodic indirect tax reports, including VAT tax
- Treasury Management:

- Assist with treasury and cash management and oversee local banking relationships
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in digital asset management and payment solutions
- Risk Management and Controls:

- Develop and implement policies and controls to mitigate relevant risks, and make recommendations to enhance controls.
- Prepare/Review internal control documentation.
- Payroll Oversight:

- Oversee and review payroll payments and account reconciliations
- Team Development:

- Mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Actively contribute to financial operations and share insights to support company growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to align financial goals with operational objectives
- Lead and support special/ad hoc projects and requests

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in finance management, with desirable knowledge in digital assets, asset management and EU/Swiss regulations
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Comprehensive understanding of EU and Swiss financial regulations
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present financial information to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in English, good German knowledge
- ACCA, CPA or equivalent credentials required

**_This role is based in Zurich and will be expected to work from our Zurich office in a hybrid model Monday - Wednesday._
