**Description**
General information:Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements. In your role as material planner, you will ensure on-time availability of spare parts groups and components for our after-sales business in the field of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). As a personality with strong communication skills, you find it easy to involve the appropriate stakeholders, such as project management, production and operational purchasing, in the planning process. Power your Future Our flexible work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.Responsibilities:Prudent production planning in SAP PP/MM in close cooperation with the departments Operational Purchasing, Production, Project Management, Warehouse & Quality Management Handling of troubleshooting and express orders Monitoring of work in progress Reviewing completed orders for deviations and initiating appropriate improvement measures if required Continuous development of planning-related processes, taking into account current challenges and changes in the operating environmentYour background:Successful studies or completed training in the technical or commercial field Further training on the topics of business processes and business administration would be an advantage Relevant professional experience in SCM, purchasing, production and/or development Ideally familiar with gas-insulated switchgears Experience with SAP PP/MM is an advantage Knowledge of English and German, both written and spoken
