Medical Science Liaison

Introduction

Unilabs is the largest provider of medical laboratory diagnostics for prescribers and hospitals in Switzerland and employs around 800 people.

Your Tasks
- Medical-scientific information exchange with physicians and experts from different specialist groups on pathology, genetics and radiology in the lab or institute and in the field of medicine
- Identification, establishment and development of scientific working relationships with physicians, opinion leaders and other decision-relevant stakeholders for regular medical-scientific exchange.
- Develop a growth strategy (for specialties) focused on both financial gains and customer satisfaction addressing relevant pathways to ensure better outcome for patients
- Support for the launch of our genetic products in oncology, gastroenterology urology and gynecology
- Promote company products/services by meeting or anticipating customer goals.
- Contact, go-to person for medical questions.
- Development and presentation of scientific content (internal and external)
- Development and implementation of advanced medical education concepts and scientific projects, as well as implementation of advisory boards
- Evaluate competition in the market by comparing the company's services, products or solutions to competitors' products.
- Participation in national and international congresses and training events
- Interface between pathology/genetics/radiology, sales and marketing
- Supporting the field sales force and other stakeholders through training and scientific support

Your Profile
- Successful medical, pharmaceutical or scientific studies
- Expertise in pathology/genetics or radiology desirable
- Ability to present complex issues in a precise, targeted and structured in a simple manner
- Teamwork skills and an ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues.
- Strong communication skills and fluent spoken and written French, English and German (Italian advantageous)
- Ability to adapt your writing to meet the needs of different audiences, for example business-focused versus technical audiences.
- You have the ability to adapt and set multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of health care in Switzerland
