Network Operations Center - Team Lead

**Your role**

Join us in an engaged and mission-critical role as a Network Operations Team lead in the Swiss Network Operations team responsible for day-to-day management and service oversight of the banks network. As the Team Lead for the Network Operations Center, you will play a critical role in managing one of our NOC teams, ensuring 24/7 network monitoring, incident management, and the highest levels of operational excellence. You will lead a talented team of network professionals to maintain the stability, performance, and security of our global network infrastructure. We do offer a strategic opportunity to work closely with IT (Information Technology) leadership and a large variety of stakeholders to make a real impact regarding production stability, continuous service improvement and best practice sharing across the environment.
- lead, mentor, and manage the NOC team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and a high level of team performance
- oversee 24/7 network monitoring, proactively identifying potential issues and ensuring rapid incident response and resolution
- collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Security, and Infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and continuous service improvements
- develop and maintain operational processes, procedures, and documentation, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and compliance standards
- ensure timely and accurate reporting of network performance, incidents, and operational metrics to senior management
- manage escalations and provide leadership during major incidents, including coordinating communication with stakeholders and post-incident analysis
- continuously assess the NOC's tools, systems, and processes, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
- foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team

**Your team**

You'll be working in the Swiss Network Operation Center (NOC) based in Zurich, directly reporting into the Head of Network Operations Switzerland. We are a familiar team with big ambitions working in a fast-paced network environment. Your future colleagues are coming from diverse backgrounds such as Network Security. Routing, Switching, Load balancing and more.

**Your expertise**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in network operations, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within the financial services sector
- strong knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, etc.)
- hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and incident management processes
- demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment
- excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- familiarity with ITIL frameworks and other industry best practices for service management
