Beyond merely coaching, you’ll craft a comprehensive experience that nurtures teamwork, refines skills, and fosters personal growth among our students.Your responsibilities will encompass a sweeping oversight of all elements within the physical education and sport science domains. From devising innovative coaching methodologies to fine-tuning training approaches and coordinating schedules, you’ll be at the helm, ensuring an immersive and enriching experience for our student body.Safety and well-being are paramount in this role. Your commitment to creating a secure environment where students can flourish both physically and mentally will define your success. Acting as the guardian of their physical and emotional health, implementing measures to prioritise their safety at every juncture will be central to your role.Directly reporting to the Director of Co-Curricular, you’ll maintain a robust collaborative partnership with the Director of Studies, ensuring a seamless integration with our curriculum. Moreover, your collaboration with the Head of Outdoor Education and the Head of Winter Sports will create a program exclusive to Beau Soleil, setting a benchmark for excellence.Your ability to foster relationships, communicate effectively, and lead by example will be instrumental in amplifying the impact of our sports program. - Lead - ie develop, manage, inspire, promote, innovate, embed, monitor - the school PE and Sports staff, programme, provision, facilities and equipment, excluding specialist winter sports and outdoor education
- Collaborate with Heads of Winter Sports and Outdoor Education to ensure a world class programme across all aspects of sport, fitness and the outdoors
- Teach PE and Sports Science
- Liaise and work closely with relevant external organisations
- Contribute to teaching allocation with tutoring, cover, and other duties as integral part of Beau Soleil teaching staff

**EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in a related field (Sport Sciences, Physical Education or equivalent)
- Coaching certifications and other relevant diplomas

**EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching and leadership roles
- High level of expertise in at least one sport

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- English native speaker or high level of English comprehension.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills
