To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as:
Application Scientist (100%)

In this role, you offer advanced technical support and assay development to our customers for our most advanced technology to measure kinetics of molecular interactions. You measure customer samples for proof-of-concept studies, generate thought leadership content and are involved in the development of our next generation of products and services. Your role is critical in keeping our company aligned with one of our core values: Customer Centricity You interact frequently with scientists in drug discovery and life sciences in general.

Your tasks will be
- Communicating with customers and distributors, offering advanced technical post-sales support, assay development and user training
- sales support, including planning, executing and documenting proof-of-concept experiments as well as instrument demonstrations, both in house and on-site
- Working with R&D for supporting the further development and optimization of our instruments, software, consumables and other technologies
- Supporting Product Management, QA and Supply Chain with your expertise

What we expect
- Masters or PhD in life science, preferably in biochemistry or biophysics
- Thorough knowledge and experience in working with proteins (ELISA; protein modifications, chromatography, interaction analysis etc.)
- Experience in assay and method development as well as data evaluation and statistics
- Hands-on experience in label-free interaction analysis, e.g. with SPR, BLI, GCI, ITC
- You identify yourself with our core value Customer Centricity and enjoy working with customers
- You are a team player and like to collaborate with others
- You are keen and able to travel with overnight stay (mainly Europe, approx. 10% of time)
- You are keen on working with and developing laboratory instruments
- Fluent in written and spoken English
