**The role**

Are you a lawyer that gets excited about Google algorithm updates? Do you have years of legal experience in the online marketing ecosystem and speak fluent techie tongue on crawlability, rankings, link building, etc? If so, join us In this position, you will be part of an in-house legal team that provides legal, corporate and compliance support to the operations of not only our existing group of companies but also new investments as we continue to grow. Our work environment is fast-paced and variable, so you will need to be practical and solution-oriented. To be successful in your role, you will need excellent organisational and communication skills, great attention to detail and the ability to balance competing priorities.

We are looking for a legal professional with a positive, can-do personality to support the following activities from our office in Baar, Switzerland:
**Your responsibilities**:

- Prepare, review and negotiate all types of commercial contracts related to software engineering, data infrastructure, affiliate marketing and online publishing
- Provide professional, proactive cross-functional legal and compliance support, in compliance with applicable law, company policies and industry standards
- Responsible for, and provide end-to-end advice on, corporate governance, corporate housekeeping and contract management
- Advise on and implement best practices in Intellectual Property asset management
- Provide guidance on all stages of M&A transactions
- Represent the group towards external authorities and other organisations
- Manage external claims and disputes
- Select, instruct, manage and monitor external lawyers and other consultants
- Monitor legislation and jurisdiction that could affect the group’s operations, and propose and implement relevant procedures and policies to ensure compliance therewith
- Take initiative as an all-rounder, providing hands-on legal support for the group’s growing, dynamic businesses
- Respect and uphold the group’s values and commitment

**Your qualifications**:

- Extensive practical experience with the commercial, compliance and other legal aspects of online marketing ecosystems (ie, you speak fluent SEO and can hold your own in negotiations with engineers/data scientists regarding strategies, techniques and corresponding contractual work scopes and deliverables)
- Adaptable work style with positive attitude and a service-oriented personality
- Lawyer/Anwalt(in)/solicitor with 3+ post qualification years of experience in a similar position in-house or law firm
- Organized, with strong attention to detail and responsiveness
- Deep understanding of software development practices and technical aspects of the internet
- Self-starter, used to work independently but also under supervision
- Ability to coordinate and prioritise multiple tasks
- Active contributor in a team environment
- Native proficiency English required; German advantageous; Swiss-German appreciated
- Must have permission to work in Switzerland
