**OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME**:
Unitaid, a partnership hosted by the World Health Organization is focused on accelerating the introduction and adoption of key health products primarily for HIV & co-infections, tuberculosis, malaria and women & children's health. It creates systemic conditions for sustainable and equitable access and aims to foster inclusive and demand-driven partnerships for innovation. It designs and invests in innovative approaches to make quality health products available and affordable in low
- and middle-income countries. It promotes collective efforts with partners, countries and communities, unlocking access to the tools, services and care than can deliver the best results, improve health and address global health priorities.

**DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**:
The key role of the Project Manager (PM), GO₂AL will be to lead and manage key activities related to the roll-out and implementation of GO₂AL, as follows:

- Leading the development and finalization of the GO₂AL governance structure and, membership selection. This will include liaising with multiple stakeholders at global, regional, and country (LMIC) levels on strategic, technical, and operational elements and negotiating/supporting alignment on fundamental positions;
- Leading the development and finalization of the GO₂AL Strategy, Budget and associated Accountability Framework (primarily key performance indicators). This will include working with Unitaid Secretariat staff and partners as well as serving as focal point with contracted management consultants supporting these deliverables.
- Leading the development and implementation of the GO₂AL Secretariat work plan and associated communications and advocacy.
- Coordinating the development of relevant processes, tools, and policies for the implementation of the GO₂AL (including identification and assessment of strategic, implementation and sustainability risks as well as the development of risk mitigation plans).
- Leading Unitaid's day-to-day co-management of the GO₂AL Secretariat together with Secretariat management focal points from WHO and UNICEF.
- Other duties as required and assigned by first and second level supervisors.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:
**Essential**: Advanced university degree in Public or Business Administration, Management, Development Studies, Health Economics, Law, Public Health or related field.
**Desirable**: University degree with specialization in public health in low and middle-income countries/resource limited settings.

**Experience**:
**Essential**:

- At least 7 years of progressive experience in programme/project management, policy development and stakeholder engagement and coordination.
- Experience with engaging diverse actors in international development, such as government institutions, communities, civil society, NGOs, donors, UN agencies.
- Experience in programme/project monitoring and evaluation including developing and/or implementing performance-based metrics.
- Experience in developing and presenting materials relevant for diverse audiences, including products for technical/scientific and lay stakeholders.

**Desirable**:

- Experience working with international financing and/or global development organizations;
- Experience in public health ideally with experience working with various stakeholders in LMIC settings.
