Join the Markets division and become part of the Institutional Sales Team in Zurich.
You will be actively involved in the daily business of our Institutional Sales Team. The team is serving banks, asset managers and other market players around the world, covering a variety of products like Fixed Income, FX and Equity OTC Derivatives. The team works in close collaboration with the respective trading units of Julius Baer and is responsible for providing trading ideas, market color and product liquidity to our clients. Furthermore, the programme includes training sessions focusing on technical and social competencies.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
- Writing a daily Morning Markets Summary as well as Closing Comments to keep internal and external clients informed of current market activity
- Identify market opportunities and implement new investment ideas for our client base
- Usage of trading systems such as Bloomberg, MarketAxess, FX 360T with a focus on sales and market making components
- Participation in desk meetings, idea generation calls and client events
- Handling of daily business like booking of trades, after-sales services, respond to client requests on settlement issues etc.
- Creating, enhancing and implementing existing and new marketing materials using Word and PowerPoint
- Creating a variety of reports and analyses using Excel functions including macros with a focus on Bloomberg XLS API
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in economics, banking, finance, Hotel Management School (graduation max. 12 months ago)
- Initial practical experience in the financial industry and expertise in banking products and financial markets
- Strong analytical, conceptual skills and fast thinker
- Very good communication and presentation skills, confident appearance
- Independent, resilient and team-oriented personality
- Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the willingness to take responsibility
- Fluent in German & English, other languages an advantage
