Vice President, Investment Banking Switzerland

J.P. Morgan's Investment Banking Swiss team provides a full range of investment banking services to numerous clients in the region. Its clients include many of the world's leading firms in their respective industries. The Group's primary focus is on delivering creative solutions to clients across the full Investment Banking product spectrum, including mergers & acquisitions as well as equity and debt capital raisings.
The role of the Vice President (VP) will be to assist in origination and manage the execution of public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across all industry sectors, equity capital markets advisory on various types of capital raising transactions such as listings and rights issues across Switzerland and work with other colleagues and products teams across EMEA and globally.
**Job responsibilities**
- Support senior management and coverage bankers in origination efforts
- Conduct detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analysis
- Perform and review detailed combination models, transaction structuring, valuation and other financial analysis
- Oversee the preparation of presentation books, management presentations, board materials, memoranda, and other presentation materials for use in transactions or strategic client dialogue
- Partner with other team members, industry coverage bankers and other product partners to deliver to our clients
- Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Analysts and Associates
**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Relevant Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience in Switzerland and understanding of investment banking products
- Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment
- Proven communication skills and ability to interact comfortably with clients in a professional manner
- Adaptable; able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
- Fluency in German and English
