- The Protein Production Unit of the NIBR Biologics Center produces recombinant proteins including but not limited to antibodies and therapeutic proteins to support the assessment and development of new biotherapeutics.
- Your work will contribute to the evaluation of novel and functional diverse mixed-mode chromatography resins for the purification of proteins. For this purpose, you will develop new chromatography methods, produce and characterize recombinant proteins from different expression systems.- Developing mixed-mode chromatography (MMC) methods for the purification of complex biotherapeutics
- Using state-of-the art protein purification processes on automated liquid handling systems and ÄKTA Avants
- Experimental setup and data analysis utilizing Design of Experiments (DoE) and statistical analysis software
- Documentation and presentation of results, e.g. in electronic lab notebooks, databases, and at internal meetings

**Minimum requirements**
- Education: Recent Master of Science in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related discipline (graduation not longer than 6 months ago)
- Languages: Proficiency in English (oral and written)

Experience/Professional requirement
- Knowledge of protein separation techniques and principles
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in biochemistry/biotechnology laboratories
- Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE) and statistical analysis software is a plus
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Problem-solving oriented and working skillfully
- Teammate demeanor, curiosity about drug discovery
