**Contexte**:
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of five Swiss university hospitals. Through its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and the EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the areas of medical care, medical research, and training.

With the strong ambition to become the European leader in the treatment of cancer, our Department of Oncology UNIL-CHUV unites clinical activities and cancer research in a constant spirit of innovation, performance and efficiency for the benefit of the patient. Our numerous collaborations and partnerships, including Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR) and Swiss Cancer Center Leman (SCCL), place our Department on the world map of oncology, with a specific focus on immuno-oncology research.

The mission is to accelerate the connection between the laboratory and the patient to design novel therapeutic solutions. **Mission**:
As part of your mission, you will be required to:

- **PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology or Immuno-oncology** with **strong expertise in cancer immunology**:

- **Strong experience** in**:Animal experimentation** (a**nimal experimentation authorization** - **RESAL - is mandatory**).
- Techniques like **immune phenotyping using flow cytometry and immune-histochemistry are an asset**.
- **Knowledge** of **molecular biology western blot**, **qPCR** is **appreciated**.
- **Expertise** in one or more of the following areas is **an asset**:CyTOF; scRNAseq; handling large set of bioinformatic data; molecular biology and cell imaging techniques**:

- B**asic knowledge of radiation therapy** is **desired** but not required
- More** advanced technics like CyTOF; scRNAseq, phophoproteomics** will be **an advantage**

**Profil**:

- We look for an **independent** and **self-motivated person**, diligent and **capable to lead a project by him/herself**, high scientific creativity and originality, strong **team spirit** and collaborative capacity, **excellent time management**, rigor, perseverance, strong writing skills.
- **Fluency** in **English is mandatory.**:
