Contract length: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years.

Your responsibilities:


The fellow will work on the ERC Starting Grant-funded project to characterize the mechanisms driving changes in zygotic gene expression.

The roles of post-transcriptional RNA regulation are of particular interest.

The fellow will be expected to formulate and pursue a challenging project, and encouraged to develop as an independent researcher.

Work will rely on integrating high-throughput genomics and proteomics, advanced genetics, microscopy and image analysis.

Your qualifications:

In order to complete our team, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated scientist with a PhD in the broad field of life sciences, interested in working in a highly interactive environment.
  • Expertise should be attested by publications (firstauthor peerreviewed research publication)
  • Excellent command of oral and written English.
  • Experience in sequencing data analysis, microscopy and genetics is advantageous.
