**Your role**
- As a Product Designer on the Design Systems team, you will evolve the cross-platform (web, iOS, Android) design system that powers our client-facing experience. You’ll partner across functions to help feature teams build polished, inclusive experiences for our clients by designing and iterating components while guiding teams on the best ways to use them. And you will work closely with Design System developers to ensure a cohesive experience across our platforms. You will build an awesome UI/design system with components, clear guidelines, and processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Using your full range of interaction, visual, and prototyping skills, you will own creating a consistent and predictable look and feel for all of our web and mobile products. You will be part of a team that ensures design quality across all facets of UI, typography, iconography, illustration, motion, etc., and help drive innovation while elevating the quality and consistency of our end experience. As an early adopter you enjoy staying current on technology, design, and is keenly aware of trends.**Responsibilities**:
- envisioning and creating a design system, primarily in Figma, which is closely aligned with our brand. You may occasionally need to work with Sketch as well.
- shaping our visual language by building a design system, including designing components, documenting best practices, and exporting knowledge to others.
- helping development teams to create components by ensuring they are built according to design and interaction specifications enabling product teams to ship solutions at a greater pace and scale
- being an evangelist of the design system for all stakeholders
- gathering feedback from design system users, including product designers, service designers, UX writers, localization experts and front-end developers
- using client-centric measurement systems to demonstrate business value creation by following UX design principles in tangible and relevant business KPIs (e.g., improved client satisfaction, product usage, adoption)
- giving clear and usable guidance and feedback to product designers, helping to create new components, and promote best practices

**Your expertise**
- very clear demonstrable experience building design systems, component libraries, and/or UI kits is a must
- 4+ years working in a digital design profession as a UX designer, UI designer, interaction designer, product designer, or similar with end-to-end design skills including very strong graphic/UI/visual design skills
- very knowledgeable of user-centric processes and design thinking principles with a bachelor's degree in HCI or design field, or equivalent work experience.
- experienced and highly knowledgeable about differences in designing for multiple platforms, devices, screen sizes, etc.
- experience creating and maintaining clean design system documentation and mastery of standard design tools (Figma, Sketch) experience in HTML/CSS and JavaScript would be beneficial
- solid understanding of design theory (typography, color, grid etc.) and knowledge of accessibility standards and patterns and designing for accessibility and experience in creating illustrations and iconography
- excellent communication and collaboration skills and comfortable working with virtual teams across different regions
- communicative, independent, and proactive personality with the drive to focus on ongoing professional development within UX and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- experience with UI animation or advanced prototyping tools like Lottie, ProtoPie, Origami etc. would be beneficial
- excellent English skills (speaking and writing), German skills (understanding) would be beneficial
