Group Finance Project Manager

**In short**:
The world’s fastest-growing sports brand seeks a passionate and hands-on finance projects and transformation professional who supports our various Group Finance functions in exciting strategic initiatives and transitions in addition to driving the overall operational effectiveness and efficiency. Working closely with colleagues from different functions across the globe, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the Head of Group Finance in growing and transforming the department as well as coordinating and/or leading cross-functional projects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of the department’s goals and objectives.

The role is available on 70% or 80%, starting on 1.4.2024.

**Your Mission**:

- Strategic support: Collaborate closely with the Head of Group Finance to develop and execute the department’s strategic initiatives and objectives that will ultimately enable growing and transforming the global Group Finance team
- Operational sparring partner: Drive operational excellence within the Group Finance team by creating insights on key performance indicators, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvements, assisting in decision-making, providing recommendations, and implementing best practices
- Cross-functional enabler: Coordinate and/or lead major projects and initiatives within the department and ensure timely completion of deliverables by monitoring and tracking progress
- Stakeholder manager: Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication, collaboration, and alignment.
- Team enablement: Support leadership in the development of the team’s direction, fostering a culture of continuous learning, organizational growth, and high performance

**Your story**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher education in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a finance role, such as project or transformation manager in a global company or multinational organization
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience in leading and driving cross-functional initiatives with diverse teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations based on data supporting informed decisions in complex financial environments
- Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Recognized as a strong team player and appreciated for collaboration and business partnering skills
- Fluency in English
