Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of Group Treasury, in this key role you will be responsible for daily operations within treasury and the smooth running of processes to cover funding requests, trading executions, liquidity forecasting, administration of bank’s relationships as well as various other important tasks. Furthermore, you will play an important role in monthly reporting, project implementations and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Group Treasury is centralized, risk-averse and service oriented with strong controls. The Group Treasury department is divided into Front Office and Mid/Back Office activities. With this set-up the operations are independently controlled (segregation of duties) through independent risk control functions to monitor risk activities real-time.

Group Treasury Operations Team (Front office activities) covers the following:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for cash management and ensuring optimal funding of group subsidiaries and holding companies; follow-up cash level of affiliates- Information transfer to Accounting / Treasury back office on Treasury related cash flows- Liquidity forecasting on a weekly basis for group level entities as well as perform sanity checks on local forecasts submitted- Improving cash pooling structure within the group- Manage and administrate gategroup bank accounts including connectivity with Treasury Management System and FIDES and user set-up in electronic banking systems- Exercise the monthly global netting process. Drive entity implementations and improvements of the netting process- Assisting ad-hoc projects as required by Head of Group Treasury or proactively by identifying improvement areas in the scope of the role- Liaising effectively with other departments, such as but not limited to Accounting, Group Tax, Group FP&A, Legal and Group Finance and gategroup subsidiaries globally- Trading in financial instruments (e.g., FX Spot) using 360T

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Solid academic education (i.e., Bachelor’s degree) in finance/economics

Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1-3 years in a cash management, treasury or finance position- Strong working knowledge of global cash management processes and techniques including cash forecasting, cash pooling, netting, banking connectivity for payments and balance reporting using SWIFT, and bank account management- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret numbers and provide insights- Capacity to set personal objectives and to implement actionable and measurable plans within the agreed time, budget, and quality parameter- Experience in Treasury-related accounting, reporting, and analysis

- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills- Positive, customer-oriented team player with a flexible and can-do attitude- Ability to build strong relationships with the various stakeholders, especially between the Treasury teams, IT, Tax, Legal, and banks- Ability to work autonomously whilst retaining the highest level of collaboration and team spirit- Ability to situate own and team’s position within the context of the firm and ever-changing business environment and champion innovative ways of working for business growth and/or resource utilisation

Technical skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and Power BI as an asset

Language / Communication Skills:
- Proficiency (verbal and written) in English and German
