**Responsibilities**:

- Definition and implementation of the procurement strategy with corresponding metrics
- Establishment and maintenance of local and international suppliers
- Definition, negotiation and conclusion of framework agreements with suppliers
- Procurement of production material, production equipment and services
- Optimization of operational procurement processes and further development of systems
- Recognition and realization of continuous cost reductions under consideration of the procurement strategy
- Process monitoring based on statistical key figures and initiation of necessary measures
- Structured supplier support and maintenance in day-to-day business
- Preparation and communication of the annual supplier evaluation
- Conducting purchasing negotiations and concluding framework agreements
- Demand-oriented and inventory-optimized material planning and procurement, including master data maintenance
- Implementation of supplier audits

Your background
- Basic technical training in industry and corresponding higher education in purchasing/supply chain and/or purchasing manager
- Several years of proven management experience in a purchasing organization in the areas of disposition / planning / operative procurement and supplier management as well as in procurement processes
- SAP knowledge
- Networked thinking and acting, analytical skills
- Experienced IT knowledge
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
- Team player and outstanding communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
