For our PMO (Project Management Office) organization in the area of contracting, we are looking for a self initiating and committed individual as

**PMO Project Manager (w/m/d) for global Projects**

In your role as PMO, you will participate as a stakeholder or lead internal projects related to business processes, tools and training for the Global Contracting Organization. This includes project management, project engineering, instrumentation/electrical engineering, procurement, QA, Shipping, as well as working with our global Subsidiaries (BCx organizations).

**Your area of responsibility essentially includes**:

- Maintenance of all non-technical, process related tools necessary for project execution like risk management, project planning, intercompany business handling, cost controlling, master data management, customer satisfaction monitoring etc
- Support to users on above mentioned tools and processes
- Planning projects following internal practices including definition of targets, identification and allocation of budget, scheduling, monitoring of progress, expediting, and aligning on ongoing projects with adherence to targets
- Evaluating and aligning with the team the global effects and implications of potential decisions to be taken based on local needs
- Working as interface with PMO global organization making sure of granting constant update and alignment.
- Bringing forward Company and Contracting Department needs inside cross departmental initiatives
- Organizing and/or delivering trainings as required.
- Ability to understand and align the needs of engineering technical departments, procurement and packaging department without being the responsible for engineering standards development, for the sake of processes development
- For those internal initiatives linked to processes managed within the ERP, mostly SAP, the project manager shall be the reference person linking the needed IT developments of SAP to the business needs and bringing them to the final users
- Support the mission of leading cultural change in the organization with focus on the specific business targets and customer feedbacks

You have Master or bachelor's degree preferably in either mechanical engineering or process engineering, or equivalent education and have several years of sound experience as a project manager in an international environment in industrial plant construction or mechanical engineering as well as experience in process design. IPMA or PMP certification are a plus.

Preferably you also have experience in the oil, gas, marine or petrochemical industry. In addition to IT skills (Word, Excel, SAP, MS-Project, Share Point Online, Power Apps, Power BI with attitude to get into customization, setup and programming), a very good and business fluent command of written and spoken English is essential. German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.

Together with a strong team, you will implement your planning and organizational skills as well as your strong processes and quality of project execution way of working into customer-oriented solutions in a demanding environment. Your reliable nature, your strong communication skills and your negotiating skills with our internal customers will help you to master this demanding task, as will your ability to work under pressure, your flexibility and your quality awareness. We expect you to be willing to travel internationally in case of need on an infrequent basis.
