Intern - Junior Bioinformatician

At SOPHiA GENETICS we are continuously striving to improve our products. As a Junior Bioinformatician (Trainee) you will be part of the Bioinformatics Services team in Rolle, Switzerland. You will directly support us on our mission to provide the best products to our users by:
Updating products to the latest set of algorithms.

Performing non-regression testing to verify performance.

Preparing non-regression reports for users.

Performing releases including documentation, testing and integration testing of new developments.

This list of tasks is not exhaustive, the trainee could work on other projects as well.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in data science, bioinformatics, computer science (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of version control using gitlab
- Strong communication skills in English
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Team player, but also able to work autonomously
- Experience in NGS data analysis would be an advantage
