Pilot Technologist Assistant

We are looking for an **Protein Technologist assistant **as soon as possible to collaborate in our European New Product Development Team. Under the supervision of a Senior technologist, you will contribute to our business growth in demonstrating the use and benefit of Givaudan’s solutions by preparing laboratory and pilot scale state-of-the art prototypes for customer and research projects in Europe according to EH&S and Quality management System.

You will directly report to an **Senior Technologist **and work at our site in **Kemptthal.**

**You will**:

- **Produce pilot-scale batches**: In a laboratory or industrial pilot environment (including innovative wet extrusion pilot), you produce small series of products aiming at developing new products: refine processed meat and meat analogues recipes and Givaudan’s solutions performance
- **Maintain systems**: you actively maintain the flavour performance data for the flavour portfolio through evaluation in finished product and capture of profiles
- **Prioritize safety**: you are going to maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment in accordance with Safety policies and hold others accountable for following these guidelines

**You have**:

- +1 years of practical experience in food manufacturing, preferably in meat or meat analogue industry
- Used to working hands-on in a laboratory and an industrial pilot environment
- Knowledge in nutrition is preferred but not a must
- Good MS Office Knowledge
- Genuine curiosity about food technology, culinary trends and innovation
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve ways of working and products
- Innitiative, flexible and independent
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is an asset
