**What it's about**

The People Partner will bring broad knowledge of the HR functions, the business Departments they are aligned to, and the wider business. The People Partner works closely with the Global People Partner, supporting the organizational goals and delivering the defined HR agenda by liaising closely with business stakeholders, while building a bridge to the Regional People Operations & Services (PO&S) and the Centers of Expertise (CoE's).

**The role**
- The People Partner will lead work streams and projects for the business departments they support, translating business outcomes and goals into People initiatives, focusing on team engagement, team effectiveness, headcount planning, compensation, and team engagement. They will ensure best practice activities, communication and alignment across the business and within the People Department. They work in partnership with a Global People Partner, sharing responsibility for globally for partnering with 2 - 4 global Departments in Partners Group
- The People Partner will implement and manage the delivery of group-wide initiatives to enable optimal people performance, i.e. performance and development (P&D) process, compensation reviews, change management, leveraging of the expertise of PO&S and CoE's
- They will conceptualize ideas and translate them into visuals/presentation materials for stakeholders and prepare written proposals and documents
- They will research, analyze and provide data/insights and proposals on business/people issues and trends within their business areas and local markets, identifying improvement opportunities and establishing action plans
- They will build an understanding of the talent strengths and gaps for key teams, contributing to the workforce and succession planning, and working closely with the wider People Department to ensure processes, tasks, tools and services are best practice
- They will identify risks, provide guidance, as requested, to Regional PO&S team to implement updates of local legislation
- Advises and coaches business stakeholders on global topics related to culture, transformation, Charter/Values and pro-actively manages the relationships.
- Advises leaders on compensation and benefits questions by working closely with the Rewards CoE
- Leads employee relations cases that are escalated from PO&S team

**What we expect**
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred
- In a comparable position, you have demonstrated a track record of business partnering within an international organization for at least 5 years
- Preferably, industry experience in Private Markets, investment management or investment banking
- Experience across HR topics including compensation and benefits, employee relations, employee/manager lifecycle, learning and development, talent management and organizational development
- Growth mindset
- Digitally savvy
- Ability to communicate directly and challenge, and comfortable with the same from others
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and oral and team oriented
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
