**B2B Banking Services**

B2B Banking Services are at the core of Sygnum. We help our partners build a comprehensive digital asset offering to their clients by providing a set of various APIs. Our team acts as linchpin within the company and we are well connected: we mostly work at the backend but also have the pleasure of staying connected to our users. This unique set-up allows us to directly incorporate user feedback into our roadmap to further expand and shape the API offering.

**The role**

As API customer success specialist, you are comfortable wearing two hats: tech and client service.

With the client service, you will:

- Provide excellent client support by addressing our clients requests and offering them advice regarding the best solutions
- Help our clients understand our APIs and support them during adoption
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders to plan new features and improvements
- Create technical API specifications for new requirements coming from different stakeholders including external clients
- Assist our teams in understanding our clients' requirements and act as the communication channel

With the technical, you will:

- Manage the whole lifecycle of APIs for B2B clients
- Act as technical point of contact for our partner banks to facilitate their integration endeavors
- Collaborate with solution architects and security specialist to constantly enhance and automate the quality, security and documentation of our B2B APIs
- Lead a team of software engineers to develop and own state-of-the-art API solutions
- Work with SRE engineers to improve the availability, resilience, and observability of the systems owned by your team

Some light travel to client facilities is expected for workshops and requirements gathering.

**Few things that will help on the job**
- Experience in the whole lifecycle (design, security, versioning, documentation, scalability) of APIs that are used by external clients
- Solid understanding of API gateways, transport layer security, exposure of services to public.
- Experienced in AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Good level of written and spoken German would be considered an advantage
- Experienced with REST and Websockets, FIX protocol is considered an advantage
- Knowledge on Asymetric encryption is an advantage
