**About the Role**

In this role you would join our Financial Planning & Analysis Group Functions (FP&A GF) team as a team leader of a Division. You would be responsible for planning and controlling activities. Together with the other FP&A partners you will play a significant role in achieving the financial targets and providing the management teams with data for improving the steering and financial oversight.

As team leader you coordinate and align Finance Partners for the Division. You work closely with the department heads and other cost centre or service owners, the operational managers of the departments' units and many partners from finance and sourcing related functions. You will play an important role for Division specific initiatives and projects.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Management of all financial planning and controlling related topics, including service cost management, and accruals for the departments in your responsibility
- Maintain and improve an efficient and accurate and at the same time flexible controlling and planning framework
- Driving continuous changes for the planning of financial and people resources during transformations and reorganizations
- Analyses and reporting on financials, staffing or service mappings, ensuring department heads, cost centre owners, sponsors and product owners have relevant information at their fingertips to steer and run their services
- Implementation of budget shifts to and from your departments, handle budget expansions and reductions
- Support teams depending on their needs, with both classical and agile budgeting methods
- Support the procurement process with regards to the creation of purchase orders, controlling of cost and budget positions

**About the Team**

We are part of Finance Corporate Functions, in total around 200 colleagues located worldwide and the FP&A teams in FCF handle together a 1.9 bn USD budget.

The **FP&A Group HR & Corporate Services** team is the port of call for financial matters of the Group HR, Corporate Real Estate (CRES) and Communications organization. The team is part of the **Finance Corporate Functions unit** which reports into Group Finance.

In the role of FP&A team lead, you understand the business and division strategy and support effective financial planning and analysis. Are you interested to provide business expertise into accounting processes and act as a catalyst driving forward initiatives critical to delivering the strategy?

Our key standard tasks include aggregation, structuring, analysis and commenting of cost data. Building on that, the role includes the constructive challenging of cost budgeting and cost management for the Division as well as close partnering with the counterparts. You will provide both standard and ad-hoc analyses and presentations for the management teams of the dedicated organizational units and instruct FP&A Financial planners.

We analyse cost impact footprints and subsequently ensuring accurate allocation and transfer of funds. In addition, you manage the internal service cost allocation and underlying service catalogue. We work with counterparts on the business side to agree on clear cost allocation keys and explain cost development. You provide regular analysis of the service cost and work in close interaction with Accounting and Governance teams.

**About You**

Are you an experienced Finance controlling professional and business partner who loves working in a demanding environment and enjoys navigating the contrast between ad-hoc delivery and standard processes/reporting? Then you might be the person we are looking for
- University degree or diploma in controlling/finance or equivalent
- Self-motivated, proactive and customer focused mentality
- Strong conceptual capabilities with above average financial competence
- Excellence in MS Excel/MS PowerPoint (and preferably in Think-cell)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - communicate in a clear and concise fashion to senior management
- Independently minded and critical - capable of analyzing numbers critically, building estimates, and drawing out relevant conclusions
- Strong collaborative leadership style and balanced personality with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international team environment
- Proficiency in English
- Able to deliver high quality also under pressure
