The Head of Group Treasury is a pivotal role with significant financial, liquidity, and capital structure impacts on the group's landscape. As the leader of the Treasury team, this individual is responsible for managing the Group’s consolidated financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, financial counterparty, pension, and liquidity risks. Acting in the best interest of the Group, the Head of Group Treasury takes proactive actions and develops strategies to defend profitability, particularly in managing foreign exchange risk portfolio and short
- and long-term funding, at group and local level. The Head of Group Treasury is part of the global finance lead team and reports directly to the CFO of the Group.

**As the Global Head of Treasury, you would**:

- Oversee and manage the Group’s consolidated financial risks (foreign exchange, interest rate, counterparty, and liquidity).
- Develop strategies to transform the Treasury into a highly automated and standardized state-of-the-art department.
- Act as a key internal adviser to deliver best-in-class treasury and cash management solutions.
- Lead and develop a team of Treasury professionals in Basel HQ and abroad, collaborating with other finance functions.
- Trade derivative instruments (FX hedges, options, etc.) with external parties in accordance with the defined risk management policy.
- Define and distribute the Straumann foreign exchange and interest rates for SAP.
- Analyze and manage the Group’s global cash position, including cash pools and global payment procedures.
- Maintain centralized electronic bank communication channels.
- Assess and coordinate intercompany funding needs.
- Be responsible for third-party funding activities of the Group (short-term and long-term loans, as well as notes/bonds, etc.).
- Be responsible for the execution of the Group’s dividend to shareholders, and manage pension fund (asset investment and liabilities, cash flow) for the company

**We are we looking for someone who**:

- Is passionate about financial management, with demonstrated expertise in Group treasury topics.
- Has a proven track record of leadership, developing and implementing the Group’s short-term investment and funding strategies.
- Has the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management, peers, and external partners, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Has strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of leading and managing Corporate Treasury function in a global, complex and dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of macro-economic trends, business strategies and focuses, compliance and risk management.
- High level of data competence / analytical competence, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management regarding capital management.
- Excellent leadership skillset that inspires, motivates and coach others.
- Team player with an open & positive attitude, a strong customer focus and a result driven mentality.
- Fluent in English. German / other languages are an asset.
