**The role**
- Strategically constructing supply chain transportation solutions to support Glencore’s Zinc/Copper traders for worldwide deliveries
- Negotiating (chemical) tanker/dry-bulk with owners/brokers/freight forwarders
- Developing a profound tanker/dry-bulk freight market overview and produce internal data & analytics reporting
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with logistic service providers in various regions
- Guiding traders on freight market developments, identifying new opportunities and logistic solutions
- Negotiating storage and handling agreements with warehouses, terminals and ports
- Ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards, sanctions as well as insurance, port requirements, etc.
- Assisting Traffic/Operations on smooth functioning of transport execution

**Minimum requirements
- a sound educational background
- excellent knowledge of ocean/land transport/container logistic including substantial knowledge of Incoterms
- experience in tanker/dry-bulk chartering and practical knowledge in commodity handling preferable
- knowledge of shipping contracts and basic understanding of maritime law
- excellent English skills (spoken and written), further languages are of advantage
