**Your field of responsibility**

The Data Centre Technical Coordinator is responsible for Group Business Support Services (GBSS) and Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) coordination related to Data Centre operations and real estate strategy. CTO and GBSS interact daily to provide a stable, secure, and reliable environment that host technology assets in a cost-effective manner.

The Data Centre Technical Coordinator is the first point of contact for senior management engagement between GBSS and CTO including general communications and escalations. Operationally, the Data Centre Technical Coordinator ensures that the standards and guidelines for GBSS and CTO align. Information is flowing freely between the organizations, and that cross-department issues or roadblocks are properly escalated and resolved. The role will interact with CTO teams globally and provide oversight and governance of the Co-Locational data centre platform including capacity tracking and vendor management.

Additional responsibilities will be to provide support for the governance and technical review process of the delivery of building services systems (Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing and Fire Protection) as part of major capital construction projects with occasional on-site quality checks and progress reporting.

Other responsibilities include internal day-to-day management of the Environmental, Engineering and Health& Safety (EEHS) departments systems and tools, including management of internal SharePoint sites, risk register database, material and presentation development and branch circuit monitoring systems.

**Your skills and experience**

We are looking for:

- 5+ years’ experience in DC and or critical infrastructure areas (Engineering and/or IT industry)
- Minimum of BEng Mechanical, BEng Electrical, or BCombSc required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff and difficult situations
- Demonstrate a good understanding and be technically competent in associated building services
- Exceptional software skills relative to Excel, data management, and SharePoint management
- Exceptional Presentation skills and software relative to report writing and presentations (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of materials, methods and resources involved in the operation, maintenance, design, construction, or repair of mission critical infrastructure systems in data centre facilities
- Fluency in English and German required
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
