**Sustainability Communications and Events Trainee (100%)**

**6 months (**February - July 2023)**

The Center for Sustainable and Inclusive Business brings together research, innovation and learning to drive sustainable business transformation. The Center is a global research hub at the forefront of sustainability leadership, where executives and researchers engage to develop business solutions to global challenges.

The Center seeks out diverse viewpoints to explore and share new ideas, best practices, and innovative thinking into corporate sustainability leadership. It leverages IMD’s expertise in applied research and developing global leaders, focusing on the organizational change required for sustainable transformation.

The Center also manages a community corporate sustainability leaders and practitioners, including an annual on-campus event. The center is also responsible for gathering data across IMD functions to produce IMD’s annual Sustainability Report and contributing to internal and external newsletters and communications campaigns.

**The Job's Mission**

Support the Head of Sustainability and the Center Executive Director to organize data, plan and manage events and communications related to sustainability.

**Main Responsibilities**

Plan internal communication promoting sustainable behaviors and events on campus, including intranet site

Support sustainability-related events both online and in person for corporate stakeholders, including registering guests, general logistics

Support planning of sustainability award and communication tools

Assist with organization of employee engagement activities such as Samedi du Partage

Help organize sustainability data

Administrative tasks including (but not limited to) preparation of reference materials, presentations, briefings, meeting minutes and other forms of correspondence

**Education**

Currently enrolled in studies (BA in Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, Communication, or Marketing)

Course in Sustainability, CSR, Corporate Communications, Marketing

**Experience (not mandatory)**

Experience working as part of a team in a corporate or academic environment

Experience in managing and organizing events involving different stakeholders

**Competencies and skills**

Passion for sustainability and climate change topics, understanding of implications for society and education

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and deal with several projects and work with a high degree of independence and integrity

Confidence engaging with executives

Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate, motivate and build relationships

A high standard of written and spoken English

A commitment to diversity and inclusion

An entrepreneurial mindset

Microsoft Office/Sharepoint/Web design
