What we offer
We provide access to in-house state-of-the-art microscopy facilities, resources for computational analysis, and biosafety facilities. Members of the ICB have access to core facilities of the University of Bern, including NGS and proteomics platforms.
We welcome a diversity of model systems. However, we do not have resources to support extensive research using vertebrate animals. The Starting Grant timeline coincides with the retirement of a professor at the ICB, which may provide an opportunity to compete for a tenured or tenure-track opening.

- Excellent research portfolio showing the ability to establish an independent and internationally competitive line of research.
- Demonstration of potential for synergy with, and complementation of the current research directions of the ICB.
