**Job Description**:
The role is initially planned as fixed term for 10 months with a possibility for extension.
**Objective of the role**
Assuming a dual responsibility, based in Switzerland, providing HR business support on Group Level for different countries in Europe and hands-on support for the Swiss HR Payroll process. The position requires A to Z management of HR processes including all administrative tasks.
**Role Requirements**
- **Business Partnering**:
- Provide business partnership to the MET subsidiaries in Central and Western Europe in collaboration with local HR
- Deliver a full spectrum of both strategic and tactical People support and programs
- Contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to ensure coordination of HR strategies and processes across the organization
- Deliver effective communication and provide ownership for the implementation of HR policies and processes
- Support in HR Cycle Events on Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Performance Management, Training & Development and other HR best practices
- Contribute to and drive HR projects and initiatives including HR process improvement and efficiency
- **Payroll & HR Administration**:
- Manage the Swiss HR Payroll process and conduct salary surveys as required
- Support the administration of benefit programs (e.g. pension, life insurance, social benefit funds, medical plans)
- Manage external partners (payroll provider, consultancy firms, pension provider, etc.) and consult with Swiss authorities
- Active participation in annual bonus cycle and prepare bonus letters accordingly
- HR advisor on compensation and benefits and Swiss labor law topics
- Action statutory reporting requirements (e.g. Audits, Social Security Authorities, Immigration Office)
- Manage HR administration and operations processes
- Process core data and ensure accuracy in MET eHRM system
- Be a point of contact for employees for all questions related to tax at source, compensation & benefits topics
**Qualifications**:
**Skills and Knowledge**
- BSc/MSc degree in economics, HR or business studies
- Strong understanding of Compensation and Benefits, Swiss Labor Law, Social Security, Tax and Swiss Pension System
- 5+ years of broad HR experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent
- Professional working proficiency in English and in German
- Proven track record in supporting employees and leadership teams
- Be well-versed in HR best practices and look for continuous improvement at all times
- Results-driven, problem-solving personality with strong planning and prioritization skills
- Precise, structured and process orientated working style
- Advance proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
