**Department environment**

It is an exciting time to join the finance department, as we scale up operations across jurisdictions. Several exciting system migrations are in progress, which will help us achieve a leaner operating environment and deliver valuable information to the business and wider stakeholders.

The finance team provides critical information to the company's leadership for effective management, whilst helping other departments assess their performance against objectives. Each vertical within finance team plays an important role in helping the wider business, whether it be through day in day out payment processing; revenue collections; product control; financial reporting or budgeting & forecasting. The collective efforts of the finance team help deliver critical information to leaderships and help their colleagues and company achieve their goals.

**Key Responsibilities of the role**
- Take ownership of maintaining accounts for the Swiss entity, including the preparation of Swiss statutory accounts.
- Manage the preparation of accounts for consolidation
- Cooperate with the holding company and other group entities in broader finance tasks.
- Ensure the business adheres to all tax, legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the activity of the Finance function in Switzerland
- Present regular insightful management information, including forecasting, revenue, debtors, together with financial modelling to assist with the creation of strategic plans
- Partner with all other departments within the UK Finance team including FP&A, Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Product Control
- Implement the internal control system
- Lead the financial audit, cooperating with the appointed audit firm
- Managing and developing relationships with key internal & external stakeholders across the business.
- Keeping up-to-date with changing market trends relevant to our business or our industry; taking steps relevant to your team to ensure Copper maintains the competitive advantage.

**Your experience, skills and knowledge**
- 5+ years' experience working in a finance management position
- Familiar with key tax and transfer pricing matters
- Commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Systems / implementation knowledge of Netsuite or similar accounting system, as well as AP/ARFA modules
- Excellent Excel skills including financial modelling
- Strong business acumen
- Experience of operating in a regulated business
- Experience of global growth environment is desirable
- Qualified Accountant.
