- reat opportunity to gain industrial experience while solving data science problems in luxury New Retail for our Maisons - _Francesco Calabrese, Group Head of Data Science**CONTEXT**
- Richemont owns some of the world’s leading luxury goods Maisons, with particular strengths in jewelry, fine watches & premium accessories, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Montblanc, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin, etc. The Group’s portfolio also includes leading e-commerce distributors that are focused on expert curation and digital innovation.- Richemont has a strong ambition to transform its business model towards New Retail, and has created the “AI Center of Excellence” reporting to the Chief Data Officer, to deliver AI & ML Projects for the different Maisons. Projects span the whole spectrum of the value chain, from customer-centric and omni-channel experience, to operational efficiency in product development, production to distribution.- The AI Centre of Excellence is currently recruiting an intern for a
- **6 to 12-months duration period **to work under the supervision of the Senior Data Scientists in the team in the development of machine learning models and interactive tools.**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**
- **Leverage various internal data** (customer journeys, transactions, etc..) to d**evelop advanced analysis & present valuable** insights to management
- **Develop Machine Learning models** in Google Cloud Platform and **support the industrialization** of such models
- Support the **development of decision support tools and dashboards** to deliver **actionable insights **to the business stakeholders

**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?**
- **Enrolled in Master program in Engineering, Data Science, or related fields**:

- Proficient in **SQL & Python, with standard libraries** (Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn, etc )
- Excellent skills in **Data Analysis & visualization**:

- **Tech savvy and geek,** passionate in exploring high tech and advanced practices
- **A dynamic, innovative & pragmatic mindset **to problem solving, and an ability to **think critically and objectively, both independently & within a team**:

- **Proactive, curious and autonomous **with a strong sense of **ownership** and **accountability** to see things through to the finish line
- **Fluent in English**, ease to **collaborate** in multicultural and multifunctional environments
- **Past internship, work experience, school projects or personal projects** related in** Data Science **or **Machine Learning**:

- **Experience in Google Cloud Platform **and k**nowledge of Unix/Git **and other DevOps tools is **a plus**:

- Available for a period of** 6 to 12 months**
