EMEA Surgical Vision is recruiting for a Demand Planner, located in Zug, Switzerland.
The Demand Planner is an integral contributor to the regions’ growth and holds pivotal responsibilities. He or she will be accountable for Demand Shaping by adding Market Intelligence and accounting for Product Lifecycle Management through collaboration with other Supply Chain functions, as well as with Marketing and Sales and Finance.

**Demand Planner EMEA (f/m/d), Location: Zug, Switzerland, 12 Months Contract**

Key Responsibilities:
Add Market Intelligence (Customer & Marketing Events):

- Review statistical forecast generated and provide input on any changes required
- Collect information and collaborate with other functions such as Marketing, Sales, Finance etc. to identify events
- Incorporate Customer and/or Market event demand that is not yet captured through the use representative sales history and statistical modeling
- Generate scenarios considering products, past event data, customer/market analysis, cannibalization, substitution, and other relevant parameters.

Account for Product Lifecycle (NPI and End of Life):

- Collect information and collaborate with other Supply Chain functions, as well as with Marketing and Sales, and Finance.
- Utilize alternative methods such as market models, life cycle profiles, and data substitution to generate scenarios testing sensitivity to an array of parameters to arrive and align on the most probable forecast.
- Generate and update system forecast for new products and end of life exceptions

Other Responsibilities:

- Enables PLAN to deliver/improve service & inventory targets by delivering/improving forecast measures for her/his portfolio
- Provide demand input to the S&OP process to allow for transparency of risks and opportunities. Participates in Demand Review and other S&OP forums as applicable.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:
University Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics & Predictive Analytics.
Supply Chain Certification (APICS, IBF etc.) desirable

Experience and Skills:
0-5 years related experience
Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred

Required:
Strong communication Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate large amounts of information leading to sound conclusions for effective decision-making
Has experience in working with a regional matrix organization and virtual multinational teams
A positive minded team member who can positively influence the organization and inspire others
Fluent level of written and spoken English. Additional European language is a plus.

Preferred:
Experience with statistical tools / modeling & forecasting techniques
A dynamic and self-starter personality
APICS certification preferred
