**How will you make an impact?**
Lead the Supplier Change Control team within the Global Supplier Quality organization. Acts as the owner of the current supplier change notification process within Pharma Service Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In addition, coordinates with multi-site supplier-initiate change notifications. This role is essential in the implementation and improvement of procedures and standardized methodologies that focus on mitigating risk in the supply base as well as the daily coordination.

As part of the Global Supplier Quality Team the role holder and his team fulfill a crucial piece of the entire global supplier program and support the entire team as required. The Manager will be leading at least one direct report and will report directly to the Director Global Supplier Quality.

**What will you do?**
- Leads the Supplier Change Control team, handle their performance and develop the team members to ensure achievement of interpersonal and department goals, as well as individual career path.
- Serves as a primary point of contact and relationship manger to PSG sites and suppliers related to the supplier change control process.
- Develops the team next to existing responsibilities towards a support/service team for the Global Supplier Quality group in close alignment with GSQ leadership team.
- Oversight and strategic development of the owned process heading for a global supplier change control approach.
- Works across functional boundaries to identify business needs, lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Definition and support of the Supplier Change Control system, including, but not limited to, updates to applicable procedures and work instructions ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Definition and tracking of metrics in order to supervise implementation of and adherence to the supplier change control process as well as future added processes.
- Works across the global manufacturing network to prioritize all supplier-initiated changes impacting PSG and registering each change within the appropriate Supplier Change Notification system.
- Identifies which PSG sites are potentially impacted for each supplier-initiated change through using the PSG Approved GxP Supplier List.
- Collaborates with external suppliers, PSG sites, and functional global groups (Procurement, Site Quality, etc.) to obtain missing change information and report outstanding or overdue change control actions.

**Education**
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required in Engineering, Science, or Business.

**Experience**
At least 5 years of meaningful experience in a GMP environment, in any of the following industries: Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC Drug, Cosmetic and/or Food and Dietary Supplements, is required, in areas of quality system.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Knowledge and use of Quality Management Systems (Change Control) and related tools (Trackwise, etc).
- Experience in implementation and deployment of systems and processes / project management.
- Experience in partnering with sites, customers and suppliers to gain vital engagement.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English, i.e. effective presentation of concepts and ideas, technical writing as well as interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to evolve and enhance internal and external relationships to gain the vital engagement.
- Ability to work within team as well as independently.
- Ability to multi-task and flexibility to respond to shifting priorities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to perform all qualifications and job responsibilities with a multi-site, global, remote team.
