The Head of Finance Bioconjugates & Microbial as part of both BU Leadership Teams (BULT), is responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic support to steer the Bioconjugates and Microbial BUs towards their respective objectives by leading BU-related financial activities and performance monitoring with responsibility for month-end closing, financial risk management and forecasting (outlooks, budgets, strategic exercises) jointly with Site Controlling; driving collaboration with business partners and provides relevant value-adding analysis and decision support to the BU heads and BUs leadership team; supporting/validating investment requests and business cases as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

- Acts as an advisor (**Business Partner**) to both BU Heads of Bioconjugates and Microbial and their Leadership teams,
- Is responsible for the **full P&L** and for **all finance BU-related activities** including
- month-end close & financial risk management toward year-end, (mainly business/operational risks but also inventory, liquidity etc..),
- yearly budgeting and strategic exercises,
- reviewing investment request and business cases as needed,
- reviewing/approving provisions (Bad Debt, SMOG, NRV etc..), impairments, deferred income recognition and other journal entries as needed,
- Works **closely with Site Controlling team** (Inform, Coordinate or Coach, as needed), Program Management and Supply Chain team,
- Ensure compliance with FAM, MAM and IFRS in collaboration with Corporate Accounting and GBSO teams,
- Supports Hard-Close/Year-End audit as needed,
- Ensure the integrity of financial reporting, prepare and present financial communications to stakeholders including Division, BULT, Senior Management, board, townhalls, etc.
- Other duties and analytics as needed: margin dilution analysis, price/volume analysis, cashflow analysis, inflation impacts, etc.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics
- Extensive experience within Finance.
- Skilled in Financial analytics, excel/PowerPoint, SAP/SAC.
- A keen interest for industrial process or pharmaceutical technologies is a plus
- Capacity to build cross-functional alliances and interface with senior to entry-level position
- Being able to align commitment to results with the business and to drive delivery on the commitment
- Fluent in English
