**About the Role**

You will work with a team of claims and technology experts to build, maintain, and implement claims solutions globally. As the team leader you will lead day-to-day running of the Claims Solutions team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the team´s product suite from "cradle to grave" and own its P&L.
- Together with the team build, communicate, and maintain strategic vision and product roadmap.
- Drive new solutions from concept phase to profitable commercial products - become a product champion internally and externally
- Develop a deep understanding of our client's business problems to prioritize MVP and post MVP deployment requirements.
- Effectively engage in the wider claims industry and community to secure Swiss Re's place as the industry innovation leader.

**About You**

**Essentials**:

- Several years of experience handling L&H claims
- Experience in leading cross functional teams in a multifaceted environment
- Outstanding communication skills in proficient English; including influencing skills and ability to "tell the story".
- Proven experience contributing to and leading teams using Agile, Scrum, or Design Thinking frameworks
- Understanding of the IT and Operational Frameworks in which insurance organizations operate.
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestically

**Nice to have**:

- Understand Technology and systems at a high level, particularly to assess the value and level of effort in crafting or supporting a technology solution a plus.
- Experience with digitalization of data a plus (e.g., understanding of OCR technology)
