Manager, Corporate Compliance Operations

This is a newly created role in our EMEA organization.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the EMEA by ensuring efficient, intelligent implementation of company policies, procedures and business objectives related to third party management. Ensure appropriate use of systems and data analytics for the purpose of continuous monitoring, reporting and governance of third-party relationships.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Lead the implementation in the EMEA of the organization’s global end-to-end third-party due diligence and management programs that are appropriately tailored for each third party (e.g., vendors, distributors, agents).
Ensure that operational controls are functioning adequately in the EMEA and propose enhancements where required in partnership with leadership
Ensure robust understanding of third-party risk and efficient administration of Edwards’ processes for third party risk management
Create and regularly report on metrics on third party management, KPIs and data analytics to identify risk and assess effectiveness of the compliance program in partnership with leadership
Develop and deliver trainings to regional stakeholders, focusing on due diligence processes and analysis, to ensure Edwards’ systems and processes for mitigating third party compliance risk are understood and adhered to throughout the region
Propose, test, and implement enhancements to Compliance Operations processes, working with regional stakeholders and Compliance Operations colleagues globally
Other incidental duties
**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in in law, business, or accounting, 8 years years experience Required
Experience working in a compliance and ethics function Required
Experience working in multinational companies in the healthcare industry Required
Leadership/management experience Preferred
**Additional Skills**:
Working knowledge of vendor management systems such as Supplier Integrity, Compliance Desktop or similar
Excellent documentation, communication, and relationship management skills
Strong work ethic and customer service orientation with desire to understand business imperatives
Extensive operational knowledge and experience in operating vendor risk management or due diligence and monitoring programs
Extensive understanding of practical implications of anti-corruption laws for third party management; demonstrated commitment to integrity and compliance
Extensive understanding of due diligence, vendor management and contract management processes and systems
Strict attention to detail
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Ability to identify patterns in data and draw appropriate conclusions to aid analysis of compliance processes
Ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels
Ability to appropriately prioritize conflicting demands from multiple business clients
Experience leading projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and cross-functional teams
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
