The Role

We are yamo. A trailblazing tech-enabled food startup with an ambitious mission to revolutionise the dusty kids’ food market.

yamostars work hard to create the healthiest and most delicious food for kids of all ages Our products are able to be ordered directly by consumers, but we also partner with some of the best-known retailers, such as Coop, Migros, dm, Edeka and more. Our team is the secret to our success and we count dozens of talented people from many different nationalities. We are looking for a level 3 leader, taking a key role within our organisation.

How you can contribute to yamo
- You steer the company financially
- You implement, develop and overview our financial processes
- You are accountable that our accounts are in order and lead the people doing the day to day to ensure this
- You are in charge of our financials towards board and shareholders and support our CEO with fundraising
- You manage external service providers and develop our ways of working with them
- You own our reporting, cost controlling and financial planning
- You work hand in hand with all other team heads to support them on financial matters and decision making

What sets you up for success
- You have a growth and entrepreneurial mindset
- You have 10+ years of experience in controlling and/or accounting and/or financial planning
- You are familiar with the P&L of a consumer goods company, preferably selling both on
- and offline
- You have a proven record of developing the financial steering of a company
- You are a reliable team player, that thinks proactively and focuses on solutions
- You are a dynamic individual, who challenges the status quo and have a clear vision of the future
- Nothing is impossible You have a can-do attitude and are always finding ways to accomplish your goals
- Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- Native in German and fluent in English
