Internship Energy Master Planing

The department “Facility Management and Engineering” is responsible for all aspects of FM and Engineering on the biopharmaceutical production site in Schachen. This includes all the infrastructure on the site, like electricity, heat
- and steam production, and any other media required to run the site._
- The master student would support the head of the FM/E department to develop a site strategy towards a CO2-neutral operation of the site. This would include the development of an energy masterplan to indicate the steps required to change the current situation towards a more sustainable operation of the site. Much of the work would focus on heat load and heat distribution on the site._

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supporting the local team in operational to develop a energy master plan for the site
- Investigate and support the metering-concept of the site
- Develop overview of heat-load distribution on the site to support a heat-recovery concept
- Improve on data entry and creation of of databases
- Support the Facility Management and Engineering department.
- Literature research of relevant publications

**Your Competencies**:

- Student or graduate of Bachelors/Masters degree in Facility Management, Industrial Engineering, Sustainability engineering or equivalent work experience
- Well-organised, structured and independent way of working
- Commitment, motivation and creativity
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal German and English skills, French or Italian is an asset
