In this role you will drive the growth of our locations, as our goal is a European network of 1,000 fast charging stations on prime locations. Fastned is a fast growing, listed scaleup company and is currently active in nine countries (head office in Amsterdam and offices in Belgium, Germany, the UK, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Denmark).

**Your role**:
As **Expansion Manager**, you will join our Swiss Network Expansion team to drive Fastned's growth and contribute to our mission “Freedom to the Electric Driver”. Together with a highly skilled team, you will help to strengthen Fastned’s position as a leading charging provider. You will support the expansion strategy and deliver on our expansion targets in Switzerland by securing new locations: from scouting and identifying suitable sites, developing new business relationships to negotiating and signing contracts. You will be a part of our Swiss Expansion team and work closely with a large team of experts: architects, construction managers and data intelligence team.

You bring an own network within real estate but also develop additional external relationships to expand our network, such as land owners, development companies and retailers to enable the development of new locations. You will oversee and lead key real estate transactions and negotiations, embodying Fastned's vision and mission. You will support and oversee the development of the acquired sites from signing until opening of the charging station.

As a member of the Fastned-family we want you to ‘think like a founder’. We value your input, we expect you to think critically and take ownership. Part of this means generating and pitching ideas to develop our business offerings and ensuring support for these ideas within Fastned.

This role will be mainly remote in your focus region, with regular travel to the Fastned office in Zurich. You will report directly to the Expansion Lead Switzerland. **Who we are looking for**:
You are results-oriented, a good communicator and able to project Fastned's vision and values. You have a good balance of strategic thinking, business judgment and commercial drive. You like to negotiate and see projects through to completion. You are a real networker, have a nose for business opportunities and you love to push projects through until success. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in expansion, development or other acquisition oriented role
- Extraordinary local knowledge in your region
- An existing network in the real estate industry and an appetite to deepen it further
- Basic knowledge of building laws
- A strong commercial and problem-solving mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
- Open for regular travel within Switzerland
- You are motivated by accelerating the energy transition.
