Position Overview
- The Senior Director of Human Resources will lead the international HR team and partner with the business across multiple countries and functions to achieve both short and long-term strategic goals. This leader will have experience leading in fast paced environments with proven ability to influence senior leadership to drive engagement, develop strategy and inspire others to execute plans against the strategy. This individual with have exceptional coaching and development skills with both senior leaders and the HR team.
- This role supports our International business unit and is based in Zug, Switzerland.

Essential Duties
- Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as a strategic partner to leaders by understanding business needs and market dynamics to structure and develop the organization and frame strategic choices.-
- Manages multiple talent strategy & talent development initiatives while deploying effective change management.-
- Partner with business/functional/site leadership to create and support an inclusive culture focused on open communication, integrity, and respect.-
- Act as a change agent by proactively partnering with key stakeholders to determine the needs of the business and leading change through the lens of continuous improvement, collaboration, and clear communication.-
- Partner with the functional leaders to assess capabilities across the teams and strategically plan workforce needs accordingly. Ensure that appropriate training opportunities are identified and provided to employees to grow personal, professional, and organizational development capabilities which lead to a high performing culture.Proactively establish, track and report on objectives and key results (OKRs) that measure the effectiveness of talent management strategies and programs.-
- Support hiring managers and recruiting partners in talent acquisition processes and strategically partner to develop organization design for the vision of the team.-
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.-
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.-
- Regular and reliable attendance.-
- Directly and indirectly lead HR teams that support the international teams, effectively connecting the business needs to the full suite of resources in the HR function.**Skills**: - Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships and effectively connect with others.-
- Approachable and viewed as a responsive resource for employees and leaders.-
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.-
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to connect with and engage audiences of differing levels (front-line supervisors, executives, etc.).-
- Strong project management and organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.-
- Strong business acumen: including comfort with accountability to business metrics, ability to make sense out of complexity, and ability to understand business financials and use to think strategically and take appropriate actions.-
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.-
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Physical and Travel Requirements- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.-
- Ability to travel between sites internationally, may include overnight/weekend travel.Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.-
- Experience in a Human Resources leadership role, with demonstration of progressively increasing responsibility, exposure, and scope.-
- Experience in people leadership, leading dynamic individual contributors and teams with varying backgrounds.-
- Experience leading an international HR function and partnering with the business across multiple countries and business units to achieve strategic goals.-
- Demonstrated awareness of regulations and compliance expectations related to human resource management, employee relations, and labor practices across multiple countries and continents.-
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective guidance and coaching in a variety of situations (developmental, disciplinary, etc.).-
- Fluent in English and German.-
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.- Preferred Qualifications- Master’s degree (MBA or MLR, MHR, etc.).-
- PHR or SPHR certification.-
- Experience working in a regulated environment.-
- Fluent in French..
