**Deputy Director International Affairs (80-100%, W/M)**:
**Your mission**:

- The unit of International Affairs supports the President in the international positioning of EPFL, proposes and implements the international strategy and lunches international partnerships and projects. The Deputy supports and deputizes the Director of International Affairs and is responsible for the coordination, participation and promotion of the European networks and the strategic supervision of the collaboration with European partners.**Main duties and responsibilities include**:

- Working closely with and supporting the Director of International Affairs in particular for the development and the implementation of the international Strategy and providing analysis and advice
- Coordination, participation, and internal promotion of the European University Networks
- Contact with European actors to strengthening EPFL’s visibility, reputation and impact in Europe
- Organization of visits of international delegations to EPFL
- Working closely with the different services of EPFL for identifying and developing international partnerships.

**Your profile**:

- University degree (Master or PhD) and at least 5 years of professional experience in international affairs and in dept knowledge of the European research landscape
- Understanding of institutional processes related to higher education, research and innovation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French, English and good knowledge of German
- Ability to interact and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders, both inside and outside EPFL and to represent the institution.
